The possibility of developing various types of value-added industrial products and setting up mineral based industries relying on available grades of mineral resources of Maharashtra State is being made.
Since MSMC has been appointed “ Shell Agency”, under the State Mineral Policy, its role has become diversified, apart from its own function as an “ On-going” organization. The MSMC has to, therefore, equipped itself with scientific information with regard to the product quality, Market trend, scope of varied usage’s, amenability to beneficiation, threat arousing out of technological advancement, marketing limitations owing to country’s economic reform policy and alike.
